Konsthistorisk Tidskrift is a Swedish journal of art history, containing original articles, book reviews, and letters to the Editor. Konsthistorisk Tidskrift was founded in 1932 by The Society of Art Historians. The journal is still owned by this non-profit society and chairman is currently the professor at the Institute of Art History, University of Stockholm. Even though the field of art history is meant to be unlimited, readers generally expect to find articles on European art in the journal. Konsthistorisk Tidskrift is internationally oriented, and about half of the articles are written by foreign scholars. Most of the articles are in English or Swedish. Articles in Swedish, Danish, Norwegian or German have summaries in English.
