Journal of School Psychology
J Sch Psychol

ISSN: 0022-4405.

The Journal of School Psychology publishes original articles on empirical research and practice relevant to the development of school psychology as both a scientific and an applied speciality. JSP reflects research on psychometrics and instrumentation, quantitative approaches to inquiry, and a focus on theoretically-grounded intervention and consultation practices. The Journal also reviews tests, books, and other professional materials of interest to school psychologists. Most manuscripts published by JSP are unsolicited. However, the Journal regularly addresses timely topics in the form of target and special issues, guest edited by distinguished colleagues, for which manuscripts are invited. This concentrated attention on one idea or approach can be a major contribution to the field and encourage discourse among experts. All manuscripts are read by the Editor and one or more editorial consultants with the intent of providing appropriate and constructive written reviews. The Editorial office of JSP may be contacted at Journal of School Psychology, The Curry Programs in Clinical and School Psychology, University of Virginia, 405 Emmet Street South, PO Box 400270, Charlottesville, VA 22904-4270, USA.
