Indiana Law Journal
Indiana Law J

ISSN: 0019-6665.

Founded in 1925, the Indiana Law Journal is a general-interest academic legal journal published quarterly by the students of Indiana University School of Law—Bloomington. Select students are invited to join the staff of the Journal during the summer following their first year of law school. Invitations are extended based on first-year academic performance, and a writing competition held at the end of the first year. The Journal publishes original articles by a distinguished and diverse selection of authors including, in recent issues, U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice William Rehnquist and U.S. Solicitor General Seth Waxman. Students select articles for publication, edit and proofread these articles, and verify the accuracy and form of cited sources. The journal also publishes several student-written pieces.
