Discontinued. Continued by the Hawai‘i Journal of Medicine & Public Health (2165-8218). The Hawaii Medical Journal is a monthly, peer-reviewed journal published by the Hawaii Medical Association. It is the only peer-reviewed, monthly medical journal in Hawaii. Publication began in 1941. The Journal's aim is to provide new, scientific information in a scholarly manner, with a focus on the unique, multicultural and environmental aspects of the Hawaiian islands and Pacific Rim regions.
