Eclogae Geologicae Helvetiae
Eclogae Geol Helv

ISSN (printed): 0012-9402. ISSN (electronic): 1420-9128.

Discontinued in 2006. Continued by Swiss Journal of Geosciences (1661-8726). Eclogae geologicae Helvetiae (Swiss Journal of Geosciences), has a more than 100 years old tradition. Originally this tri-lingual (German, French, Italian) journal focussed mainly on aspects of the geology of the Alps and their forelands. It has widened its scope to an international, predominantly English-language journal with a focus on the entire Tethyan realm, reaching from the Atlantic to the Himalayas. The journal welcomes original contributions of modern interdisciplinary and process oriented research in Geosciences. The topics may range from palaeontology, sedimentology, surface processes, tectonics, petrology and geophysics all the way to hydrogeology, geomorphology and applied geoscience. The journal gives preference to original research articles that are of a wide interest to the international geoscience community, and it also welcomes review-type articles. The international board of Associate Editors and the two Chief Editors ensure a high quality of peer reviewed contributions, while Birkhäuser guarantees an excellent printing quality of your figures.
