The Journal of Czech Physicians (Casopis lékaru ceských) is the oldest and most prestigious Czech medical journal. It is an interdisciplinary journal, thus differing from the specialized journals of the different professional medical societies. Being a scientific journal it publishes original scientific papers from all branches of medicine, reviews on selected topics with an impact on postgraduate training. The journal also publishes reports from congresses held abroad, accounts on the history of medicine, reports on the activities of medical associations, book reviews etc
